Amendment No. 12 Sequencing & Phasing 2,300 Threshold

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, in its role as Planning Authority, lodged Proposed Amendment No. 12 to An Bord Pleanála to amend the Cherrywood SDZ Planning Scheme 2014 (as amended) on Friday, 30th May 2025 in accordance with Section 170(A) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended).

The purpose of this review is to modify the sequencing and phasing of the delivery of homes in the Cherrywood SDZ, and bring forward 500 no. residential units, taking cognisance of additional capacity in the transportation network that has now become available.  

An Coimisíun Pleanála (ACP) formerly An Bord Pleanála, as the competent authority, Approved Amendment No. 12 on 26 November 2025.
