DLR Disability Consultation Group

Logo for the DCG in shades of purples, pinks and reds. Circular design which suggests people reaching towards eachother. Below the logo it says Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Disability Consultation Group in teal.

The Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Disability Consultation Group (DCG) was established in accordance with the principles of the Barcelona Declaration to advise Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council on all things relating to the accessibility of its services and functions. The Group brings practical advice informed by lived experience to Council projects, services and facilities, helping to identify barriers and consider accessibility at an early stage of planning and design.
Engagement is facilitated through the Access Office and may include presentations, review of plans, dedicated consultation sessions, site visits, or walkability and accessibility audits. The DCG also raises issues directly with the Council where members identify barriers affecting people with disabilities.
