Dublin Climate Action Week 2026 will feature a wide range of events across Dublin that explore key climate themes and highlight ongoing projects, shared objectives, and the collaborative work of the four Dublin local authorities in taking climate change action.

Organised and delivered by a partnership including Dún Laoghaire‑Rathdown County Council, Dublin City Council, Fingal County Council, South Dublin County Council, the Dublin Metropolitan Climate Action Regional Office (CARO) and Codema – Dublin’s Energy Agency – the week will host diverse events designed to engage the public in local climate action.

This year, Dublin Climate Action Week 2026 coincides with both National Bike Week and National Biodiversity Week, creating a unique opportunity to bring together climate action, active travel, and the natural world. Through workshops, interactive activities and demonstrations, participants will learn how everyday choices can contribute to a more climate‑sustainable future while exploring the strong links between sustainable transport, climate solutions, and Dublin’s biodiversity.

The four Directors of Service of Dún Laoghaire‑Rathdown County Council, Dublin City Council, Fingal County Council and South Dublin County Council stated:

“We are delighted to launch Dublin Climate Action Week 2026. This collaboration with National Bike Week and National Biodiversity Week will present a fantastic range of events, encouraging all to participate in meaningful action towards a climate‑resilient future. We would encourage everyone to get involved and make the most of this important week.”

Getting involved in Dublin Climate Action Week 2026 is an excellent way to build connections between community groups, businesses, and organisations, and to learn more about what is happening locally. Further information is available at www.dublinclimateactionweek.ie, and the full programme of events will open for bookings in mid‑April 2026.
