Blackglen Road Improvement Scheme - including the whole length of Blackglen Road, sections of Sandyford, Enniskerry and Hillcrest Roads at Lamb's Cross and Harold’s Grange Road junction only. The improvement works on Harold’s Grange Road is not included in this scheme.

Murphy International Ltd awarded the construction contract for the Blackglen Road Improvement Scheme in August 2021.
The scheme is nearing its completion. The contractor is working on the finishing layer of the road surface and this will be completed in the coming weeks, weather dependent. There will be other outstanding works to be continued in the coming month, most of which are off road and should have less impact to the traffic or road condition. This road improvement scheme is expected to be completed Q2 2024.
