Launch of Local Environmental Action Fund with Grants up to €25,000
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, in partnership with IPB Insurance, has announced the launch of the Local Environmental Action Fund (LEAF), a new initiative aimed at supporting community led climate action and environmental improvement projects across the county.
The fund will provide grants ranging from €1,000 to €25,000 to support projects that focus on biodiversity, climate action, and environmental enhancement. The initiative is designed to empower local communities to take practical steps in addressing environmental challenges and improving their local areas.
Applications are open to Tidy Towns groups and voluntary community organisations registered with the dlr Public Participation Network (dlrPPN). Groups are also encouraged to collaborate with local schools, clubs, and other organisations to strengthen their proposals and broaden community impact.
