Funding for Conservation Works and Repairs to Protected Structures 2027

Following the recent announcement by Christopher O'Sullivan TD of funding for built heritage projects nationwide, applications are now invited under the Built Heritage Investment Scheme (BHIS) 2027 and the Historic Structures Fund (HSF) 2027 to support the conservation, repair and enhancement of historic buildings.

Completed application forms, along with all supporting documentation, should be forwarded to conservationgrants@dlrcoco.ie 

The closing date for BHIS 2027 applications to reach local authorities is 5pm on Friday 30 October 2026.

The closing date for HSF 2027 applications to reach local authorities is 5pm on Friday 27 November 2026.
