Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced operators to deliver temporary or seasonal attractions at Dún Laoghaire Harbour (directly behind Dún Laoghaire DART station) for Christmas 2026 and/or the wider winter period from November 2026 to March 2027.

The Council is seeking high‑quality, innovative and family‑friendly proposals that will animate the harbour during the winter months, attract visitors, and support local tourism and economic activity. Proposals should align with the character of the harbour and provide a safe, well‑managed use of this prominent public space.

Dún Laoghaire Harbour has previously hosted a variety of successful seasonal and temporary events, including ice skating, circus installations, Christmas events and live entertainment, demonstrating its suitability for winter attractions.

This is a non‑binding Expression of Interest to help inform the Council’s approach. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to take part in a later procurement or licensing process.
