An Taisce National Spring Clean

The National Spring Clean, operated by An Taisce, is Ireland's largest and longest-running anti-litter campaign. Each year, communities, schools, businesses and voluntary groups across the country come together to help improve their local environment through organised clean-up events. The programme provides registered groups with resources and guidance to support their clean-up activities, including clean-up materials and limited insurance cover. Clean-up Bag and Litter Collection

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council can provide clean-up bags from both the Civic Hub in Dún Laoghaire and the Council offices in Dundrum. To request bags or arrange the collection of litter following a clean-up event, please contact the Civic Hub by emailing info@dlrcoco.ie or calling 01 205 4700. Please note that litter bag collection arrangements must be agreed with the Civic Hub in advance of the clean-up event.

Please be mindful of your safety and ensure that appropriate risk assessments have been completed before organising or participating in a litter pick.
