Join Irish National Opera and host Gavin Ring to explore Ireland’s place within the wider European operatic story. Through conversation and live musical performances, the event will look at Irish composers, singers and opera-makers, alongside the movement of artists, repertoire and musical ideas between Ireland and continental Europe. Discover the people, influences and connections that have shaped opera in Ireland, and Ireland’s place within a much wider European musical tradition.
