This Project provided a new junction on the N11, known as junction Q,  to facilitate  the proposed Druids Glen Road and construct a 135m stretch of the Druids Glen Road, known as Q –P*.

Status - Completed February 2020

The Cherrywood Planning Scheme indicates four strategic access roads into the Cherrywood SDZ. The Druids Glen Road is the north eastern route, linking directly towards Dun Laoghaire and Dublin city.

The key objective is vehicular and pedestrian access to Cherrywood SDZ.

The outcome is a major traffic junction on N11 south of Johnstown Road, Cabinteely. The junction includes an enhanced entrance into Kilbogget Park, wide footpaths, cycle lanes, modern street lighting, improved bus stop layouts and high spec landscaping.
