Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Mister Copy has always been attracted to the idea of colour and art.

He began painting in 2016 and has gone on to design and paint original artworks for a wide range of projects and commissions. He has painted at street art festivals such as Ardu, Things Made Public, Waterford Walls, Hit The North and the The Grey Area Project. His work can be found around Ireland and internationally in London & Hungary. His graphic artworks have been exhibited at the Library Project, A4 Sounds, European Month of Photography Berlin and EV+A, Limerick.
Garreth’s piece for DLR Anseo is inspired by a mention of Kingstown (the old name for Dún Laoghaire Pier), in episode II of James Joyce’s Ulysses. It brings together a collage of elements of the story.
