Beach Event Applications and Permits

Beaches are popular destinations for scenic walks, swimming, and escaping city crowds. 

If you are planning to hold commercial sporting or recreational event at one of our Dun Laoghaire beaches you will need to obtain a licence. Please download application forms for water based recreational activities and events in our related document section below. 

Anyone wishing to film at one of our beaches must complete a filming application and send to the council email: filmoffice@dlrcoco.ie.

For events held on green areas above beach please use Parks department event application form. 

In addition, Please note public liability Insurance is required to hold events and should indemnify DLRCoCo.
