The Story We Tell Tomorrow is our current Public Arts Programme which is funded through the Per Cent for Art Scheme. The programme will support a series of public art projects between 2025 and 2030. Projects will explore the histories, uses and imagined futures of the County across a range of artforms.
Public Arts creates opportunities for public engagement with contemporary art outside of traditional art settings (such as galleries and theatres) and can be of both of a temporary or permanent nature.
We are committed to supporting Public Arts Programmes that connect with, animate and make an impact on communities across the County.
Over the last number of decades, we have commissioned a broad range of work through the national Per Cent for Art Scheme and through internal capital projects.
