Work starts on new Mounttown Boxing Facility

Work has now started on the new Mounttown Boxing Hall, which will include changing facilities, toilets & medical room.  This new facility will have photovoltaic solar panel array and permeable drainage solutions & rainwater tank. Works are expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Monkstown Boxing Club Dublin will use and manage the facility under an agreement with Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council along with other service users. Monkstown BC's Heavyweight Jack Marley won European Games Silver Medal and Qualifies for Paris 2024 Olympic Games - an incredible achievement by the 20 year old Champion.
