Traffic and Roadworks Update: Saturday 9 May to Friday 15 May 2026
Motorists travelling in Dún Laoghaire‑Rathdown are advised to plan ahead this week, as a number of road closures, roadworks and traffic management measures will be in place across the county.
Key Traffic Updates
Wyattville Link Road – Reduced Speed Limit
A temporary speed limit of 50 km/h is in place on the westbound Wyattville Link Road, between Cherrywood Avenue and the M50 southbound slip road.
- Dates: 13 April to 30 November 2026
- Reason: Construction of the Wyattville Link Road underpass
- Please drive carefully and follow signage.
Proposed Road Closures (Public Consultation Open)
Enniskerry Road (R117), Kilternan
- Dates: 8 June to 28 August 2026
- Section: From Kilternan Country Market to Our Lady of the Wayside Church
- Reason: Road realignment and upgrade
- Local and pedestrian access will remain open
Castle Street, Dalkey
- Date: 1 June 2026 (11:00–19:00)
- Reason: Dalkey Vintage Festival (vintage car display)
- Local access maintained
Meadow Mount / Meadow Grove, Ballinteer
- Date: 24 June 2026 (18:15–21:30)
