traffic management

Road users in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown are advised to plan ahead this week. Several road closures, roadworks and temporary traffic arrangements will be in place across the county between Saturday, 10 October and Friday, 16 October 2026. Wyattville Link Road speed limit

A temporary 50 km/h speed limit remains in place on the westbound Wyattville Link Road between Cherrywood Avenue and the Cherrywood M50 southbound slip road.

The reduced speed limit is required to facilitate construction of the Wyattville Link Road underpass as part of the Beckett Link Road Project. It will remain in place until 30 November 2026, or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier.

The crossing aims to improve accessibility and safety for pedestrians and cyclists, improve connectivity to nearby bus stops, and support the safe movement of vulnerable road users through the junction. Drawings and particulars can be viewed at dlrcoco.ie/traffic-management/traffic-news.

Please allow extra time when travelling through affected areas and follow temporary signs and traffic management instructions.

Information on planned roadworks on the M50 is available from M50 Concession Limited.
