Temporary closure of Wyattville Link Road (westbound)

General News
Road works Control

Under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council wishes to advise of a temporary closure of Wyattville Link Road (westbound), from its junction with Cherrywood Avenue to the Cherrywood M50 southbound on-slip.

The closure will be in effect from Monday, 13 April 2026 to Monday, 30 November 2026, and is required to facilitate construction of the Wyattville Link Road underpass as part of the Beckett Link Road project.

Traffic management arrangements will ensure access to and from Wyattville Link Road via the M50 northbound and southbound slip roads, utilizing alternative layouts throughout the works. Please note, a temporary diversion route—clearly signposted—will be required for one night only during the traffic switch.

Full details of the alternative layouts and diversion route are available under the Traffic Management Plans section.

We advise road users to allow extra journey time and follow all on-site signage. Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council greatly appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as these vital works are carried out.
