Temporary Closure of M50/M11

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, on behalf of Globalvia Jons Ltd, Luttrellstown Road, Diswellstown, Castleknock, Dublin 15 gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 that the following section of the M50 will be closed as follows:

 

  • M50/M11 Southbound
    • M50 J16 (Cherrywood) & M11 J4 (Loughlinstown) to M11 J6 (Bray South)
      • Dates & Times: 11/09/23 to 29/09/23 (Monday to Friday nights), 22:00 to 06:00.
    • M11 J5 (Bray North) to N11 J7 (Kilcroney)
      • Dates & Times: 18/09/23 to 06/10/23 (Monday to Friday nights), 22:00 to 06:00.

 

  • M50/M11 Northbound
    • N11 J7 (Kilcroney) to M11 J5 (Bray North)
      • Dates & Times: 25/09/23 to 06/10/23 (Monday to Friday nights), 22:00 to 06:00.
    • M11 J6 (Bray South) to M11 J5 (Bray North)
      • Dates & Times: 02/10/23 to 13/10/23 (Monday to Friday nights), 22:00 to 06:00.

 

The purpose of the closure is resurfacing of the M11 Southbound from Marker Post 10.9 to 14.95 & M11 Northbound from Marker Post 14.8 to 11.15.

 

Only one carriageway and diversion route will be closed on any given night.  Intermediate junctions will be closed as required.  Local access will be maintained where required with residents contacted in advance of works commencing.

 

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:

 

Diversion for traffic travelling Southbound:

 

M50 Southbound J16 to M11 J6

Diversion via – M50 J16 / R118 / N11 SB / R837 / R119 / R761 / Upper Dargle Rd / M11 J6

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

M11 Southbound J4 to J6

 

Diversion via – R837 / R119 / R761 / Upper Dargle Rd / M11 J6

 

M11 Southbound J5 to J7

M11 Northbound J7 to J5

Diversion via – N11 J7 / R768 / R761 / M11 J5

 

M11 Northbound J6 to J5

Diversion via – M11 J6 / Upper Dargle Rd / R761 / M11 J5
