Temporary Closure of Georges Street Lower, Dun Laoghaire

I refer to Section 75 of the roads Act, 1993.

Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council has approved an application from Cumnor Building & Civil Engineering Contractors Ltd to temporarily close George’s Street Lower, Dun Laoghaire from its junction at Library Road to its junction at Sussex Street. The closure will run from Thursday, 28th September 2023 to Wednesday, 4th October 2023.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and pedestrian and local access will be maintained at all times. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.  

The purpose of the closure is resurfacing road outside St. Michael’s Hospital as part of final phase of Myrtle Square and Convent Lane Greening Project.
