Temporary Closure of Ferndale Road

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has approved an application to temporarily close Ferndale Road from Thornhill Road / Old Connaught Avenue junction to Allies River Road junction.

The closure will be in place from Monday, the 11th of September 2023, to Friday, the 17th of November 2023. It will only commence when the works on Thornhill Road have been completed.

A traffic management plan will be in operation and pedestrian and local access will be maintained at all times. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

The purpose of the closure is to allow for the installation of a culvert replacement on the water system by Uisce Éireann.
