Temporary Closure of Ballinteer Road

I refer to section 75 of The Roads Act 1993. Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has approved an application to temporarily close Ballinteer Road from Barton Road East roundabout to Dundrum crossroads. The proposed closure will run from Monday the 11th of September 2023 to Friday the 15th of September 2023 between 08:00pm and 08:00am.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and pedestrian and local access will be maintained at all times. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

The purpose of the closure is remedial work required to expansion joints on Dom Marmion bridge. These works will be carried out by Ecoflex Ltd on behalf of dlr Road Maintenance section.
