A yellow rainfall warning comes into effect from midnight tonight (Monday 26 January). Heavy rain may lead to localised flooding and difficult travel conditions.

A wind warning will follow in the early hours of Tuesday (27 January), with the potential for fallen trees and loose debris.

Please avoid the East Pier due to wave overtopping.

05:30–08:00 (High Water at 05:39)
From 16:00 onward (High Water at 18:02).

Conditions along the coast are highly dangerous, with waves breaking over piers, slipways and coastal paths. Sudden surges can occur without warning and may sweep people off their feet.
• Avoid piers, slipways and lower promenades
• Keep a safe distance from all sea walls
• Do not attempt to take photos or videos close to the edge.
