Spring into Storytime this April with dlr Libraries
Spring into Storytime takes places in libraries across Ireland every April, and this year we are delighted to be hosting storytimes in our Libraries and our Library Gardens throughout the month of April. Spring into Storytime is part of the national Right to Read programme which aims to promote literacy and reading development for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Sort, recommend, search and borrow! Learn all about how a library works through games and play with a Mini Masters in Library Science at Dalkey Library this Spring. Designed especially for the under-5s, children are challenged to complete four library tasks like sorting and recommending. With stickers to collect along the way, a very special Mini Masters in Library Science certificate is awarded at the end! You can expect to spend approximately 30 minutes in the library at this event and an accompanying adult is needed. There is no need to book for this event but you may need to wait a short while if some activities are busy.
