Speed Limit N11
Notice is hereby given that Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, in exercise of the powers under Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004, in the interests of road safety and to facilitate the resurfacing of the N11 motorway has made an Order entitled Road Works Speed Limit Order, No.2 of 2023 on the N11 motorway in the County of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown to apply a road works speed limit as follows:
N11 Southbound and Northbound will run from 18/09/2023 until 30/11/2023
Description of speed limit order 60km/hr:
- Part of the N11 between its junction with Kill Lane (Foxrock Church) to on ramp R118 Cherrywood Interchange junction southbound and northbound.
The Garda Commissioner has been notified by email of the Council’s intention to decrease the speed limit to 60 km/hr and 60 km on the N11 Southbound and Northbound, in accordance with Section 10 of the Roads Traffic Act, 2004.
Accordingly, I recommend the introduction of the 60 km/hr speed limit (N11 Southbound and Northbound) from Monday 18th September, 2023 until Thursday 30th November, 2023 or for the duration of the works, whichever is the earlier.
