Sandycove Avenue East Repair Works

DLR Beaches and Coastal protection have engaged MJS Civil Engineering to complete rock armour works at the beach wall off Sandycove Avenue East.

These works are the last stage of repair works that occurred here in the summer of 2024.

Works are due to commence on Monday 4 November and are scheduled to last for 2 weeks.

Works schedule will be dependent on weather and tides.

The works will include the installation of approximately 6 metre of rock armour to provide erosion protection to the wall and facilities at this location.’
