Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has opened a public consultation period for a proposed development at Sussex Street and Eblana Avenue in Dún Laoghaire.

The proposal includes the demolition of the existing community building at 11 Eblana Avenue, as well as the demolition of the community and commercial building at 10 Sussex Street and the removal of on-street parking in this area.

 

The project proposes the construction of a new community facility and a housing development comprising:

  • 39 one‑bed apartments
  • 16 two‑bed apartments
  • 4 three‑bed houses
  • 1 accessible parking space
  • An accessible drop‑off area
  • 66 cycle parking spaces
  • All associated site works

 

 

Members of the public can view the plans and particulars from 13 March 2026 up to and including 15 April 2026 at the following locations:

 

  • Planning Department, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire
    10:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)
  • Council Offices, Dundrum Office Park, Dundrum
    9:30am–12:30pm and 1:30pm–4:30pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)

Submissions can be made up to and including 15 April 2026
