Proposed Temporary Closure of Carysfort Avenue

I refer to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993.  Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from GMC Utilities Group Limited, Millenium Business Park, Cappagh Road, Dublin 11 to temporarily close Carysfort Avenue, Blackrock from its junction with Anglesea Road to its junction with N31 Frascati Road on Thursday 10th August, 2023 between 19:00 hours to 23:00 hours.  For buses the road will be closed from Fleurville/R825 Stillorgan Road junction to N31 Frascati Road junction. 

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and pedestrian and local access will be maintained at all times.  Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.   

   

The purpose of the closure is to facilitate permanent reinstatement.

                                                                                  

Any interested parties may lodge objections/observations in writing to the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire not later than noon on Wednesday, 9th August, 2023 or email info@dlrcoco.ie.
