Proposed Temporary Closure of Adelaide Road, Dún Laoghaire

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Roads Maintenance Section has requested the temporary closure of Adelaide Road from the junction of Silchester Road to its junction with Eden Road Lower and Hudson Road from the 14th April 2020 to 26th June 2020.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation, local access will be maintained at all times and diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

The purpose of the closure is to facilitate road restoration and associated works.

The diversion routes are outlined below:

 

.   Traffic approaching from Glenageary Road Upper will be diverted.

    Primary diversion route will be Silchester Road via Glenageary Road Lower and Eden Road.

.   Traffic approaching from Eden Road will be diverted via Hudson Road, Albert Road, Glenageary Road Upper onto Adelaide Road.

.   Traffic approaching from Hudson Road will be diverted via Eden Road, Glenageary Road Lower and Silchester Road.

Any interested party may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire not later than noon on Friday, 3rd April 2020 or email info@dlrcoco.ie.
