A pollution incident has been reported to Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.

dlr Pollution Control staff responded to the report and have attended the site in Kilbogget Park, to deal with the matter.  Pollution Control staff installed booms and pads to absorb the spill.

Swans were removed with  the help of local dlr staff, Kildare Wildlife Rescue & Volunteers and  are currently  in the care of Kildare Wildlife Rescue.  dlr staff will continue to visit the site at Kilbogget Park over the weekend and  will monitor the situation. We remind visitors  to the park  to ensure that dogs are kept on a lead at all time, except in the designated off leash areas.
