Notice of Approved Construction Works at Dún Brí, Dundrum

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has granted permission to John Paul Construction to carry out works outside of normal construction hours at the Dundrum Mental Hospital site for the delivery, installation and erection of a tower crane during the weekend of 3 and 4 October.

The approved working hours are:

Saturday 3 October: 8.00am to 5.00pm

Sunday 4 October: 8.00am to 4.00pm

These works cannot be carried out during normal site operating hours due to the complex and high-risk nature of the crane installation. The crane will be erected at the front of the development, adjacent to the site's main entrance. For safety reasons, a large exclusion zone is required during the operation. Carrying out the works at the weekend will minimise the risk to workers, visitors and vehicles entering and leaving the site.

The Council has approved this temporary derogation to ensure the works can be completed safely and efficiently while reducing disruption to normal site activities.
