Irish Red Cross helpline available for people distressed by flood damage

If you have been distressed or impacted by recent flood damage, the Irish Red Cross has launched a dedicated helpline offering compassionate listening and practical guidance.

• Operating daily, 9:00am–6:00pm (including the bank holiday)

• From Friday, 30 January 2026, and continuing as needed

Staff and trained volunteers are available to provide:

• A supportive, understanding listening ear

• Guidance on where to access Government and local authority supports

• Help for homeowners, businesses, and property owners dealing with the impacts of Storm Chandra
