IB Green Final Conference

Local authorities, business leaders and sustainability experts will come together in Sandyford next month for the IB Green Final Conference, a one-day event focused on nature-based solutions and climate adaptation. 

Taking place on 15 September at Explorium, Sandyford, the conference will showcase innovative approaches to future-proofing Europe’s industrial landscapes through green-blue infrastructure and sustainable planning. Delegates will hear about award-winning European initiatives, gain practical insights into climate adaptation measures, and learn how successful pilot projects can be scaled for long-term impact. 

The event forms part of the IB Green project, which has brought together partners from across Europe to explore how nature-based solutions can help address environmental challenges while supporting economic development and community wellbeing. 

The conference will run from 8.45am to 4.00pm at Explorium, Blackglen Road, Sandyford, Dublin 18. Registration is open until 30 August 2026. 

Organised by the IB Green project partnership, with support from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and Sandyford Business District, the conference will bring together local authorities, businesses and sustainability experts to explore innovative approaches to climate adaptation and nature-based solutions
