Housing Support Drop-In Events to Take Place in Dún Laoghaire & Ballyogan

Join us for two drop‑in housing information sessions, offering residents the opportunity to learn more about the range of housing supports and services available.
These sessions offer a chance to:
- Meet housing staff
- Ask questions about housing grants, schemes and supports
- Get clear, practical guidance in a friendly and welcoming setting.
Event details:
- Session 1: Wednesday, 6 May, 5.00pm to 8.00pm – Assembly Hall, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire, A96 K6C9 Register through Eventbrite for this event
- Session 2: Thursday, 7 May, 5.00pm to 8.00pm – Ballyogan Parish Hall, Ballyogan Court, Dublin 18, D18 TY20 Register through Eventbrite for this event
Both sessions will provide the same information, so you can attend either or both.
Areas to be Covered
We will provide information and guidance on the application process and eligibility criteria for the following housing services and supports:
- Vacant Homes Supports – Vacant Homes Grant, Repair and Leasing Scheme
- Affordable Housing Options – Affordable Purchase Scheme and Cost Rental
- Housing Adaptation Grants – help make privately owned homes safer and more suitable
- Local Authority Home Loan – if you are unable to obtain sufficient funding from commercial banks to purchase or build a home
- Incremental Tenant Purchase Scheme – as an existing tenant, you may be able to buy your home from us if you meet the criteria
- Social Housing – you may be eligible for social housing support
- Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) – financial help to rent in the private rented market
