High-visibility Garda operation on LUAS in DLR

Gardaí based in Dundrum Garda Station have started a high-visibility operation on the LUAS across the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown area.

As part of this operation, uniformed Gardaí will carry out regular patrols on LUAS services and at stops. They will engage with passengers and LUAS staff, and provide reassurance to people using the public transport network.

The operation also includes an enforcement element. Since it began on 2 June, Gardaí have already made a number of detections.
