Have Your Say on the Proposed Housing Development at Lehaunstown Lane
We are inviting you to take part in a public consultation on a proposed new residential development at Lehaunstown Lane, Dublin 18.
The consultation will be open from Monday, 26 May 2026, to Friday, 10 July 2026, inclusive.
What is proposed?
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council plans to build 109 new homes on Council-owned land at Lehaunstown Lane. The development will include a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom homes across buildings ranging from 2 to 4 stories in height.
The 109 homes will consist of:
- 28 one-bedroom homes (for 2 people)
- 6 two-bedroom homes (for 3 people)
- 53 two-bedroom homes (for 4 people)
- 22 three-bedroom homes
The development will also include:
- Open spaces and shared community areas
- Car parking and bicycle parking
Environmental checks
DLR has carried out an Appropriate Assessment Screening and an Environmental Impact Assessment Screening. The results confirm that the proposed development is unlikely to have significant effects on the environment or any designated European site, and that no further assessments are required.
Within 4 weeks of this notice, you can apply to An Coimisiún Pleanála to review whether the proposed development could have significant environmental effects.
