Glenamuck District Roads Scheme: Public Information Evening

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown (dlr) have completed the tender process for the construction of the Glenamuck District Road Scheme (GDRS). The construction contract has been awarded to BAM Civil Ltd.

The GDRS includes:

• Construction of the Glenamuck District Distributor Road connecting the existing R117 Enniskerry Road with the Glenamuck Road East/Golf Land Roundabout (c. 890m of four lane dual carriageway and c. 660m of two lane dual carriageway)
• Construction of the Glenamuck Link Distributor Road (c1800m of two-lane single carriageway), connecting the new District Distributor Road to the R117 south of Kilternan. The Link Distributor Road will have junctions with Glenamuck Road, Ballycorus Road and Barnaslingan Lane.
• Upgrading the southern section of Glenamuck Road including the Golden Ball junction.
• Construction of Glenamuck park including two ponds, natural play areas, landscaping, installation of paths and lighting.
• Associated site works and landscaping.

Two public information evenings will be held at De La Salle Palmerston Rugby Club from 6pm - 8pm on the 21 and 23 May 2024.

These will be opportunities for local residents to meet with the members of the BAM and dlr teams and get detailed information about the construction and traffic management.
