Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Company Wins at National Enterprise Awards

Imvizar, who are supported by Local Enterprise Office dlr were winners at this year’s National Enterprise Awards. The awards, which took place at the Round Room in the Mansion House in Dublin, were in their 23rd year and run annually by the Local Enterprise Offices.

Imvizar took home the Best Startup award. The company creates digital storytelling experiences using augmented reality. The primary focus is historical, heritage and cultural experiences within tourism, with the goal of engaging younger, digital-native audience. Since launching just under 2 years ago they have launched experiences in Ireland (Sligo, Kerry, Cork - Spike Island, Waterford, Derry), Portugal, UK, US (California & North Carolina) and most recently in Sydney, Australia. They were recently credited with being in the top 7 in the prestigious SXSW.

Imvizar have been supported by LEO dlr mentoring program, feasibility funding and team growth to support their early development helping them attract investment and build product.
