Dun Laoghaire Harbour welcomes a host of international guests

As the global & national tourism industry kicks back into gear this year, Dun Laoghaire Harbour is delighted to welcome over 70 cruise ships from March to October 2022.

Ranging in capacity from over 3000 passengers to just under 300 the ships can be seen at anchor out in Scotsman’s Bay and the smaller vessels will be seen alongside in the Harbour.

New Harbour infrastructure in now in place to allow ease of access to guests disembarking the ship and guide them safely to the town.

Guests are welcomed into the Harbour by a cruise welcome team at a new information kiosk adjacent to the old ferry terminal building.

The team guide guests to visit local pubs, shops & local attractions in the area. The tourism information kiosk is also open on Queens Road/Marine road 10 – 5pm daily.

We look forward to a busy year ahead for the town and its surrounds.
