DLR shortlisted for Local Authority of the Year in LAMA Awards

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is delighted to announce that we have been chosen as a finalist in nine categories, including the prestigious Local Authority of the Year, at the 2025 All Ireland Community & Council Awards.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Dublin Convention Centre on Saturday, 28 February, celebrating excellence and innovation in local government across Ireland.
We’re proud to see so many of our projects recognised for their impact and contribution to the community. Here are the shortlisted entries:

- Best Housing & Regeneration – Park House Regeneration
- Best Housing & Regeneration – Shanganagh Castle Estate
- Infrastructure – Connecting Communities
- Best Tourism – NYE Fireworks
- Best Sustainable Infrastructure – Ballyogan Operations Depot
- Excellence in Major Infrastructure Delivery – Shanganagh Castle Estate
- Local Authority Energy Decarbonisation Award
- National Impact – Cherrywood SDZ
