dlr shortlisted for Excellence in Local Government Awards

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has been shortlisted in the twentieth annual Chambers Ireland Excellence in Local Government Awards 2023.

The 2023 Excellence in Local Government Awards, sponsored by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage are held to recognise and celebrate the outstanding work being carried out by Local Authorities all over Ireland.  

dlr is delighted to have been shortlisted for the following projects:

• Fernhill Park and Gardens AR Experience in Sustainable Environment & Biodiversity
• Framing the Senses in Sustaining the Arts
• Enhancing Traveller culture and ethnicity in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown in Diversity & Inclusion
• dlr Festival of Inclusion 2022 in Festival of the Year
• Inclusive Cycling for All in Health & Wellbeing
• Dublin Mountains Community Archaeology in Heritage and Built Environment
• Beaufort - a unique heat pump district heating system in Local Authority Innovation

The awards will be presented on Thursday, 23rd of November in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Northwood Park, Santry Demesne, Dublin 9 and further information can be found here.
