DLR Shines a Light on Recovery
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council marked International Recovery Day yesterday by illuminating Marlay House and Cabinteely House in purple, joining communities around the world in recognising and celebrating recovery from addiction.
The lighting of the two landmark buildings highlighted the message that recovery is possible and recognised the strength, resilience and achievements of individuals, families and communities affected by addiction.
International Recovery Day aims to raise awareness, reduce stigma and promote hope by celebrating people in recovery and those who support them on their journey.
The initiative reflects DLR's ongoing commitment to supporting healthier, more inclusive communities and encouraging understanding around addiction and recovery.
