dlr & Respond to deliver 200 new cost rental and social homes in Sandyford
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and Respond have announced construction is underway at Lisieux Hall, Sandyford, Co Dublin for 200 new homes, including 67 cost rental apartments and 133 social apartments. The new homes are scheduled for delivery between Q4-2024 and Q1-2025.
The 133 social apartments will be allocated to persons from the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council housing waiting list and will include:
- 11 x Studios,
- 50 x 1-bedroom apartments,
- 69 x 2-bedroom apartments and,
- 3 x 3 bedroom apartments) homes.
Frank Curran, Chief Executive, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council said:
We are committed to delivering homes in this County for people at all income levels. We are delighted to work in partnership with Respond to achieve this aim at Lisieux, Sandyford which is an attractive place to live, close to transport links and supported by a wide range of local amenities.”
Rent for the 67 Cost Rental apartments, which will include (3 Studios, 28 x 1 bedroom apartments, 31x 2 bedroom apartments and 3 x 5 bedroom apartments) homes, will be €1,137.50 for Studio apartments, €1,312.50 for 1 bed apartments, €1,485 for 2 bed apartments and €1,530 for 3 bed apartments, representing an average 35% decrease in current local market rates.
