dlr Celebrates WAM Leader Award Success

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council (dlr) has been recognised with a WAM Leader Award 2026 for its commitment to promoting the employment of graduates with disabilities.

The award was presented at the WAM Leader Awards ceremony, held at ESB Head Office in Dublin on 29 September 2026. The recognition highlights dlr’s ongoing partnership with AHEAD and its commitment to creating inclusive employment opportunities across the organisation.

The WAM Programme supports graduates with disabilities in gaining professional experience while helping employers develop more inclusive recruitment and workplace practices.

dlr remains committed to fostering an inclusive workplace and ensuring that employment opportunities are accessible to people of all abilities. The Council values the contribution of WAM graduates and is proud to support initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities in the workplace.
