We were delighted to attend the launch of the Summer Games with Shane McArdle from dlr Sports Partnership and Cllr Jim Gildea, Cathaoirleach of Dún Laoghaire‑Rathdown County Council.

At the National Sports Campus in Blanchardstown, athletes, supporters and partners came together to mark the journey to June. From 18–21 June, more than 1,200 athletes from across the island of Ireland will compete in 12 sports, alongside health programmes, leadership initiatives and the Young Athletes Festival.

The launch was proudly MC’d by athlete leaders Ashwin Maliyakal, Francis Donnelly and Dara Kiernan, and featured a powerful Parade of Athletes and the symbolic arrival of the Torch of Hope officially lighting the way to the Games.
