Today, the Council flag is being flown at half‑mast to honour former Councillor of Dún Laoghaire Corporation, Eric Doyle, who has sadly passed away.

Cllr. Doyle served as a Councillor on Dún Laoghaire Corporation from 1974 to 1985, representing the Dún Laoghaire urban district.
