Cast Your Vote Now for the Dún Laoghaire Baths at the RIAI Public Choice Awards

We are thrilled to announce that the redevelopment of the Dún Laoghaire Baths has been shortlisted for the prestigious RIAI Public Choice Awards. This award celebrates excellence in design and innovation, making it one of Ireland’s most sought-after architectural honours.

The project has seen a 400-m stretch of coastline with a 9-m drop transformed into a complex public infrastructure. The Edwardian pavilion has been refurbished to house a café, toilets, and artist studios, while a new walkway between Newtownsmith’s promenade and Dún Laoghaire’s East Pier offers various resting and viewing points. Accessible ramps, seating, and landscaping connect all levels, with a sculpture of Roger Casement sitting on a new jetty.

Guided by our commitment to improving public realm for our communities and linking the seafront with the town centre, this project complements and is linked to the People's Park, the Lexicon library, and The Metals.
