While the latest test results (16 June) for all bathing areas are excellent, forecast heavy and prolonged rainfall over Thursday and Friday means prior warning notices will be put in place at all bathing locations in the County.

The situation will be monitored over the weekend. Further testing is scheduled for Tuesday, 23 June, with results expected on Thursday, 25 June.

A prior warning (“Advise Not to Swim”) is a precautionary notice. It means water quality may deteriorate due to factors such as heavy rainfall, so people are advised not to swim as a precaution.
