Apply now for Ratepayers Support Grant

The Council’s Budget for 2026 retained numerous Grants and Supports for Businesses including the Ratepayers Support Grant for eligible ratepayers whose rates bill is less than €20,000. Grant payments are graduated depending on the level of rates payable and the grant varies from 8% to 14%. 

To qualify for the Ratepayers Support Grant you must be currently paying by direct debit, pay in full by 1st May or sign up to pay your rates by Direct Debit prior to that date. If you sign up to pay by direct debit and subject to meeting the other terms and conditions of the scheme, your grant will be applied automatically to your account this year by reducing your November and December direct debt payment.
