Adelaide Road – (24-hour Road Closure)

Road Restoration works and an associated 24-hour Road Closure will commence on Adelaide Road from Monday, 25th May 2020 until 26th June 2020 (inclusive).

Adelaide Road will be closed from the junction of Silchester Road to its junction with Eden Road Lower and Hudson Road for the duration of the works.

From Monday, 25th May 2020:

  • A ONE-WAY SYSTEM will be in operation between the Junction of Station Road and Eden Road / Hudson Road.
  • There will be NO ACCESS to Adelaide Road from the junction of Eden Road Lower and Hudson Road.
  • LOCAL ACCESS for residents will be maintained via the junction of Adelaide Road / Silchester Road.
  • LOCAL EGRESS will be maintained via the junction of Eden Road / Hudson Road.
  • Works will be undertaken during the hours of 08:00 hrs. and 18:00hrs.
  • Advance notice of diversion routes will be clearly sign posted on all approaches.
  • Traffic Management Arrangements will remain in place over night for the duration of the works.
