The Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Tourism Development department are delighted to support tourism providers in the county with sponsorship for the following 2022 events.
Dalkey Book Festival
16th – 19th June 2022
Immunologist Luke O Neill, Podcaster Blindboy, Journalist David Mc Williams, Comedians Ross O Carroll Kelly & David O Doherty are just some of the wealth of speakers at this year’s Dalkey Book Festival 2022. The event taking place in a variety of beautiful locations around the Heritage Town this June 2022. Find out more here
Dalkey ECHOES book Festival
Sept 30th -2nd October 2022
Dalkey Echoes Book Festival is taking place this autumn for 3 days this October 2022. The literary event features Paul Howard, Nuala O’Connor, Conor O’Clery, Ann Ingle, Lenny Abrahamson, Roddy Doyle, Emily Hourican and many more. More info here
Ski Fest 2022
8th & 9th September 2022
The annual Ski Fest takes place on 8th & 9th September 2022 with guest instructors from Austria and invites new visitors to experience all that the Ski Club has to offer. The event is a perfect opportunity to prepare legs for an upcoming ski holiday while also enjoying live apres ski music & the view from the ski club café. Click here for more info.
GAP
24 & 25th September 2022
The Irish Downhill Mountain Bike Series (IDMS) 2022. (24 & 25th September)
Glencullen Adventure Park (GAP) hosts this action packed event in 2022 & will see a weekend of racing comprising of the final round of the series to crown an overall winner.
The event will also feature live music and create an festival like feel at the new GAP Kitchen outdoor dining space.
Failte NASC
21st May 2022
Feilte NASC is an outdoor folk & traditional music festival taking place in Marlay Park.
The two stage event will showcase the best of local and national folk and traditional music in a family-friendly environment. Children attending can take part in drumming workshops, yoga as gaeilge, puppet shows, sean nós dancing classes and a forest camp for kids.

Dalkey Lobster Festival
26th - 28th August 2022
The annual seafood festival celebrates all things Dalkey, its local attractions, its beautiful heritage town & seafood offerings. A family friendly event the DLF features Pirates, giant lobsters and street performers galore.
Bord Iascaigh Mhara are to attend the festival with their ARC educational experience & 2022 will be the 2nd year of the Dalkey V Glasthule chowder challenge. The main street in Dalkey will be closed off to allow the town to open up to a weekend of visitors to this unique seaside town.
